Painting in grayscale at this level of detail feels more to me like drawing than painting... maybe that's why I enjoy it so much.

hi Sadie watching this progress as you post. just wondered how many hours per day you are working on this painting to get an idea of time scale?

Hi Rahina, usually I spend about 4-6 hours per session. Yesterday I worked on the seashell and the base of the vessel about 4 hrs.
